In the Summer of 2018 my father sustained a life ending injury while in assisted living, that was totally preventable. The venue of the case presented some problems, especially concerning very low caps on the amount of recoverable damages for wrongful death. The first firm we had the case with (not in Huntsville), sat on it for almost a year....obviously not wanting to proceed because of the low caps. After that time period, I brought the case to Bart at ST&L, and immediately I knew I had done the right thing. They treated my Dad's case the entire time like it was a multi-million dollar potential settlement, while all along knowing and being very realistic that it would probably only be in the low 6 figure range (which is exactly how it ended up). I can't thank Bart and the whole team enough for the importance they gave this case. More than anything, I was hoping that we might could prevent this from happening again. I could tell that was Bart's main driving motivation as well.
