I do not recommend this attorney at all. It's my experience and opinion that he represents capability and makes agreements regarding representation for you to engage with him and quickly fails to do the job you've hired him to do. In my opinion, Jason Snell took no time to speak with me and familiarize himself with my case or the facts of my case. He had extremely poor communication skills and treated me like his enemy rather than his paying client. Failing to respond and sending rude, demanding emails when he popped his head back up out of the sand. He failed to provide legal guidance and failed to respond to legal questions and important legal matters. He did not notify of upcoming court date(s) and missed, failed to take appropriate and necessary action, or rushing at deadlines. He spent thousands of dollars talking to opposing counsel and never seemed to have time to communicate with his client. His emails were only abrupt and rude and completely opposite of the representation he promised at engaging. Hiring Jason Snell was a mistake, he has damaged my case, and has been the worst part about the entire process. When you engage with an attorney, relying on their representations and some level of capability, you expect that they will provide some level of service and representation to you. Jason Snell cost thousands of dollars for no real good reason and was awful to work with. I plan to file a complaint with the State Bar of Texas and request a full return of all legal fees paid. As an additional note - I don't trust him at all and part of me feels that he was working for the other side the entire time. Also, when I complained of his lack of representation and what I see as ethics violations, he submitted to withdraw from my case. When he did so, there was suddenly a court date that I had never been notified of. What's more is that he made agreements with opposing without my permission to not extend this court date beyond a certain date when I had never been made aware and never agreed to that. Due to Jason Snell failing to do the job I paid him to do and meet the response deadline and prepare, I'll need more time than what he agreed to without my permission. My opinion is very low of him and the word that comes to mind is grimy. He's also made no mention of the return of my retainer and if history repeats, that will explain the billing tactics he uses with the rest of my money.
In my opinion,Jason Snell is one of the top litigation attorneys in Austin. As a former client I can attest to both his skill in court and his determination to win your case. Despite my frustrations with the slow and seemingly endless processes of our legal system, having Jason and his team showed me that it is possible to prevail if you have the right experts on your side.
Jason Snell and his team handled a complex, week-long jury trial for my business in Travis County District Court. The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of my company and awarded reimbursement of our attorney fees. The attorneys at the firm are highly ethical, efficient and effective. I highly recommend the firm.
Jason and his team did an outstanding job litigating a lengthy and difficult lawsuit on our behalf. We had to finally go all the way to trail and Jason and team were the consummate professionals resulting in a ruling 100% in our favor. I highly recommend the Snell Law Firm.
Jason Snell is one of the best lawyers in the country and his associates are equally as good. I will continue to recommend him to everyone that needs an experienced and fearless litigator.
