Reviews

In 2014 we had Snyder and Associates redo our pool and deck. There were some initial problems and they took care of them when they first occurred as we were still paying him. Because of this, I wrote a glowing review on his website. Since then, I have asked have asked him him numerous times in writing to remove my review off his website.nnMost of the problems were around cracks and popouts (craters) in the concrete very quickly after the pour. Contractor assured me it would not get get worse.nnThey did and as of a few months ago, I now have 133 popouts (craters) and 46 cracks and they are increasing in number as we speak. What you see in the pictures is merely a FRACTION of the craters and don't even show all the cracks which he wrote to me and said would not increase after I first reported a few months after the pournnThis contractor attempted many "band aid" fixes that I was opposed to and he assured me if they didn't work he would try something else.nnThe fixes did not work and the contractor is refusing to fix and we had to get legal help and file with the state. He bragged to us how he will just turn it over to his insurance carrier and they never pay out and fight everyone that makes a claim.nnAs a homeowner, you have no idea what can possibly go wrong or to know what to check and the problems may manifest later and you can only hope your contractor stands behind his work when things do go wrong. This contractor has yet to resolve all these issues.nnThis contractor did things that were concealed, such as tiling over a drain, sealing up my underground drain system with concrete, pouring concrete around a wood post without a footing. He did fix the underground drain, but the other band aid fixes are not satisfactory or they are not going to be fixed by him. For example, they wanted to stain my whole deck to conceal the patched craters and the stain started coming up months after applied and now the whole deck is mottled and bubbling up in patches.nnI invite anyone to come to my home to see his work and the fixes he attempted and how they are holding up. I also have all communication documented in writing and you can look at his responses as well as documented lack of response. You can decided whether or not to use this contractor based on your own review.nnI judge a contractor by how they act when things go wrong and how they treat customers when there are issues
