About Law Firm
Attorney David McDowell graduated with honors from the University of Alabama in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1980 and has been in the active private practice of law since then. He has handled criminal cases of almost every type and description over the last 30 years.
He served as President of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association in 2000-2001.
In September of 2001, Mr. McDowell began hosting “Common Law†on WJAB, a public service program that airs live on Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. on 90.9 FM.
Mr. McDowell is a past president of the Lawyer Referral Service of Madison County and served on the Alabama State Bar Lawyer Referral Committee. He has been honored for his contribution to the delivery of pro bono legal services to the indigent of Madison County.
He served as President of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association in 2000-2001.
