Rick is hands down The best lawyer in Fresno. I was falsely accused of a crime in which I did not commit. My freedom was at stake and I was possibly looking at some jail time. Rick is passionate at what he does. He had my back from beginning to end. Not only did Rick get the DA to dismiss my case, he also prevented my professional license to work from being suspended. He answered any questions that I had regarding my case in a timely manner. I definitely recommend Rick as a lawyer to anyone seeking legal counsel. Thank you Rick, you gave me my life back.

Rick was truly remarkable. I was looking at multiple felonies and he worked so hard to get most of them dismissed and the others dropped down to a misdemeanor. He was so patient, informative and kind through the whole process. This was my first time ever in trouble and he did not judge me. He walked me through the whole process with ease and compassion. He would take time to slow things down and explain everything in full detail so I understood everything. My wife suggested The Law Office of Rick Horowitz when I was sitting in Fresno County jail. At that time, I was against it, thinking that this was going to be an easy fight with the DA, and it would be a waste of money to hire a private attorney when a public defender can do the same job. Fast forward two years fighting this case, boy was I wrong!! Rick Horowitz was worth every penny! He never ask for any more money than what was discussed beforehand. He was always in communication with me about my case. I live out of the state, and he was able to get me on pre-trial release so I don't have to rot in county jail. If you never been to Fresno County jail, just know that it is not a place to be. (It is rated as one of the worst jail in the nation!). Not only did he get me on pre-trial release, most of my court appearance was 977, so that I don't have to waste money flying back and forth just so the DA can ask for another continuance. I am not the type of guy who gets into a lot of trouble so I don't know the criminal justice system much, but Rick, he's very knowledgeable. He knows the court systems in and out. He was able to win my case with a "suppression of evidence" motion granted. Never in a million years I thought it was possible. He fought for me, and never gave up! If it wasn't for his professionalism, persistent, and expertise... I would probably be in State prison doing time right now. My family and I are grateful to Rick Horowitz and his staff, Serena for taking this burden of my shoulder. You will never know how much this meant to us. For once, I felt ALL the weight has been lifted off my chest and I can resume my life again!

Good morning, this comment is to highly recommend Rick Horowitz, I got in trouble with the law 3 years ago, I had a different lawyer which only took my money, so I hired Rick a year after my case started. Best decision I made, Rick thought the case would take him 6 months or so, but he ended up fighting my case for 2 yrs, and never asked me for more money (my case was in Hanford). Prosecutor wanted me to do prison time from the start. I was almost ready to take the deal, but Rick suggested to keep fighting, and I'm so glad we did. He fought for me so that I could stay with my family, he trusted me and believed I make a mistake when I told him about my history, I could see he really felt my pain. The day of the sentencing the prosecutor still argued to give me jail time but he agreed that Rick's mitigation statement was one of the best he had seen. We won the case probation only, NO JAIL TIME. ???????? My family and myself are really thankful and more than happy with the results. Thank God and Rick I can stay home with my family.
