My husband and I went in for a consultation about child custody. She had Craig overstreet handle our consult. Told us it was worth getting into. Then all of a sudden Craig stopped working with Anissa and we were left with her. She knew nothing about our case and didn’t bother to learn anything. 2 years of paying $500 a month and we got nothing for it. She even told us the day of court that she didn’t understand why we chose to pursue the matter to begin with. So After court was done and Anissa didn’t even bother to fight for us, we ended up worse off then we were before and cost us over $12,000. In the end when I asked for a detailed document of the time actually spent on our case, she gave us the runaround and never gave us the documents. She is horrible with communication and is not worth the money she takes from people. Her own secretary told us that we would be getting some of our money back, but that didn't happened, no matter how many times I tried to talk to her. Almost a year of trying to track her down!
This lawyer took my elderly aunts money 1500.and was suppose to represent her on a case. This so called lawyer never did anyghing..never even showed up in court on the day of her court date. We have tried to get our money back and she is refusing to even respond to us. I want to say to NOT TRUST THIS LAWYER. You will be throwing your money out the window...BEWARE!!
She handled my divorce in 2012. Said she would be at our hearings and would always send someone else fro her office, in her place. Terrible decision hiring her as my lawyer!
