Ms. James was both professional and personable in her efforts and successfully mediated my divorce and a contempt charge. She took cases that most certainly would have gone to trial and was able to have both cases not see a court room. I believe she was fair to both sides and I didn’t experience any partiality the other reviewer referenced. I didn’t get everything to go my way but I didn’t expect to. She did exactly what she should have.

I worked with Carol on my first divorce and emergency child custody situation. This was one of the most difficult periods of my life. Even when I wasn't thinking clearly of how my agreement was going to affect my future she was. As a father it felt good to have a strong advocate who was able to help me understand that I have rights and didnt need to beleive what I was being told by others in terms of horror stories of losing everything. Outstanding attorney! Within 30 seconds of meeting Ms. James I knew I made the right decision in firing my old attorney and hiring her. I had a very difficult custody case and Ms. James was able to come up with a winning gameplan. I now have full custody of my three children and they are flourishing. She is extremely flexible with fees and is practicing law to help folks and not make money. She is extremely knowledgeable with court systems in multiple counties and knows most of the judges. Ms. James was extremely professional and gave sound advice throughout the entire process. Not only that, but when I noticed some issues with billing she had it corrected in less than 2 hours. She knows many other professionals in the industry and that was very helpful as she referred me to excellent mediators and also knew the opposing side's attorneys and how to work with them.
