I would never recommend Joanne Kolbe. She was my attorney for a standard divorce. She was ineffective. Her practice is unethical.We had mediation one time and court one time. I have paid her over $16k, she now states I owe her another $26k. That’s $42k give or take . She is withholding my divorce settlement, which has rendered me homeless and all but bankrupt. Imagine your own attorney doing this after you hired her to protect you from this very thing. She’s scheduled meeting to “resolve” the issue but failed to appear . I have filled complaints, and I am waiting for a resolution . Please learn from my misjudgment , save yourself these same issues, and find a component attorney.

Joanne is a very knowledgeable experienced attorney in Kosciusko County. She practices the law very diligently. She is intelligent, strong willed, and very dedicated to her work. I’m thankful for the work she did on my case.

First off if you are in a divorce case, DO NOT USE JOANNE KOLBE AKA (THE HUMAN FILING CABINET). She works next to the court house, files papers all day and racks up insane charges. Then when it is time to do something, she fails to walk across the street and BE EFFECTIVE. Sure she walked there but only her body, she leaves her mind at her office with her papers. Use her for land stuff and things that won't ruin you and your kids lives, maybe, but I'd rather not see someone line the pockets of a criminal like Joanne. She's nothing but surface content and papers. From the fancy house to the manicured lawn it's all on the surface. $$$$ lawyer in k county

Worthless, lawyer. I'm still trying to undone her misrepresentation of myself and family. She truly take any hope away for a father going through the kosciusko county "court system".

Extremely rude! Asking a simple question on the phone as to who to contact regarding obtaining a divorce decree and was interrupted twice before I could even finish my sentence. Very unprofessional in my opinion!
