It would take me 10 pages to write about Lisa Potter and all that she has done for me. In my case. My case has been very complicated. I have been fighting for custody of my daughter after her father took her away from me and brought false charges of assault against me. So I was fighting a criminal case as well as in family court with Lisa Porter fighting for my daughter. I hired Lisa through a third-party company, and then I was unable to afford to continue paying their fees. The company advised her to drop my case because I was not able to pay, but Lisa refused and told me she would continue to represent me free of charge. Understand that she is in Houston and I am in Fort Worth. She has flown at her own expense to represent me in court no less than 12 times already. She has filed multiple motions, and she has gotten access to my daughter again. Originally, dad was given full custody, and I was not given any visitation except under supervision. Today, I have 50/50 custody. Also, for my criminal case, she worked with my criminal attorneys and spent about 40 hours helping them prepare my case, giving them all of the evidence from our family law case to help defeat the criminal charge. It was because of a hearing that she had in family court where she showed a major witness in the criminal case was lying that my criminal attorney was able to use the transcript from the family court case where LisaWas so brilliant To show the jury in the criminal trial that this witness was unreliable and telling lies. Not only that, Lisa took time off from her busy schedule to fly to Fort Worth the day of my criminal trial to sit in and support me. I don't know any attorney who would do what she has done for me. She has the biggest heart I have ever seen, and she definitely has a very soft spot for single mothers because she told me she was raised by a single mother. There is nothing I can do to thank her for all that she has done for me. I was blessed to have come across her, and I will forever be grateful to all that she has done for me and my daughter. She is such a fighter, and she is so passionate about what she does, and that is why she goes above and beyond for her clients. Her staff is also great, and they keep you posted and updated every step of the way. If you want an aggressive attorney who is also passionate but is going to keep it real with you and tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. She's definitely the attorney you should hire, and I cannot recommender highly enough.

This attorney is a Terrible person I had court August of 2023. The judge wouldn't even look at her! She failed to provide a court date for me after a Restraining order was put in place for 14days. i never got a court date for that part!! She embarrassed me in my case.. she always seemed to go against me on conversations over the phone. Lisa brown Was never on my side Since my case started in 2021! I told her many times that this was affecting my family, i also was going through health issues at the time and she did not care she was extremely rude Towards me. I had the judge removed her as a attorney for me And I hired someone else! Removing her as an attorney was the best decision i ever made. Lisa brown Was overly charging me for my case and always adding new fees & scopes in my cases wasn't completed?? she still wanted me to pay her?! 11,000 or more for modification in my case! This Attorney is money hungry and she's not out to help people. Lisa brown Has also created false advertisement online regarding her photo online as attorney .I meet her in person August 2023 for the first time all the other times where through conversations over the phone! She does not look like her photo she posted on the web!

Lisa Potter is nothing short of an extraordinary attorney. I hired her firm right before Christmas through a third party company. My ex had been keeping my children away from me for the entire year. Her firm quickly filed a writ of habeas and got me in front of the court in record time. I walked out of court with my children that day and was able to spend time with them for the first time in a year. Not only that my kids were upset obviously because their mom had been filling their head with nonsense and so they were teary-eyed when their mother left them at the courthouse. Lisa didn't have to do this but she came in the room with me and my children and she spent about a half an hour talking to them and calming them down and interacting and laughing with them. They really enjoyed her and interacted well with her. She definitely has a heart and passion for children. By the time we left they were happy and excited to go get breakfast with me. I will never forget what she did. In addition, she is now pursuing an enforcement case for me because Mom has violated the order so long and she is doing it free of charge. I read some of these reviews about her being money hungry. That is not my experience. I don't know too many attorneys that provide services at no additional cost. Also, since I came to her through the third party, it is the third party that charged me and set the fees for me, not her. If you're looking for an attorney who is going to fight for you and move your case along quickly, I would highly recommend that you hire her and her staff. Her staff was very responsive and have kept me updated at every step in the process. Give her a shot and then you make your own judgment about her as an attorney and as an individual. I used Lisa Potter for mediation in my divorce case. She initially had the mediation date rescheduled to fit with her schedule and then at the new date didn’t even show up and I was on my virtual mediation with no representation for 30mins and had to call the office and they sent a new attorney that I never worked with since she was busy. However he helped me through my mediation and the order was finalized. I reached out to later about having representation on a motion to enforce. Only to have her send me a rude email that my order was finalized and she doesn’t represent me even though I’m the one that asked for a quote so that she could. I think she’s very unprofessional and rude. It was very unprofessional for me to be sitting on my mediation with no attorney for 30 mins when she is the one that rescheduled it. I do not recommend working with her. She might not even show up and send someone that doesn’t even know your case. She also doesn’t know how to speak to people and her emails are very much rude and disrespectful.
