Kiele will try to sell you on her idea of creating a “beehive” of legal talent but that is far from the truth. You will be billed for more than your contract agreement and it will be misleading. After speaking with 5 other attorneys in town, they all found her contract deceiving. Her office took over 6 months to send my client file to the next attorney. You’ll also find reviews of the Pace firm on Glassdoor, of which some of her employee’s explain she is financially troubled. This certainly felt to play a role in how I was treated at the Pace Firm. Read the other reviews that line up with my experience, there is a trend here.
I give Kiele and her team, The Pace Law Firm 5 stars and more if I could. I called 3 places around 2am. Kiele and her assistant picked while they were out of town and offered to fly in the next day to handle my case. I decided that they were going to be the best fit because of their response time and willingness to assist. We have reviewed my initial case and supported argument and they decided to take on the challenge. We have back and forth communication via phone, email, text messaging through their companies communication service. They have helped every step of the way. I didn’t even step foot inside a court room and at the end of the day through process and defending my case, the Pace team was able to find reasons to support a dismissal. I am very happy with their over all process and fees. Upfront communication on cost and even had a payment plan. I highly recommend Kiele and the Pace Firm team without a doubt. High professionals who will go the distance for their clients.
Do not get yourself into the absolute mess of hiring The Pace Law Firm. Kiele has a fake personality and will make it seem like her services are crucial. This makes you think she really cares and you will hand over a retainer fee. That's where it all goes downhill. You will never personally hear from Kiele again and if you have any questions or want an update on your case and try to call, good luck. Unfriendly office staff and poor service. Save your money and hire someone who actually cares and who doesn't take your arm and leg. I am firing Kiele after terrible experience and now she is not refunding my retainer and has barely done anything. She had the audacity to ask for two months of payment when I just handed over a retainer fee and her staff had failed to call me back and communicate with me on several occasions. Only time I heard from them was when they asked where their monthly payment was. I am extremely upset and feel like I have been deceived and cheated. I'm not the only one writing one of these reviews and now can relate the others scammed by The Pace Law Firm.
I was extremely unfortunate to have worked with Kiehle. She sold me herself as a top-notch lawyer, but then outsourced my case to other hungry lawyers. Worse still, I had to follow up individually with each, because Kiehle herself stopped answering my calls (which were routed to a virtual answering service). She tries to operate a law firm as a business, but in reality, fails at both. I ended up with no choice but to appeal to the Disciplinary Counsel of the State Bar of Texas. Much time and effort lost, so avoid her if you ever want to see the end of your case.
This is a sincere warning to all patrons researching for a lawyer. Desperate times call for desperate measures and Kiele acted like she wanted to help. However, I have now learned she is a dirty lawyer who is absolutely money hungry. I should have listened to some of her reviewers. Before hiring Pace Law Firm, Kiele was attentive and returned all calls and emails immediately. However, after receiving her retainer fee, it was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone and receive updates and information regarding the case. The only time I heard from Kiele again was when I terminated services from her firm, and all went sour. After only ONE MONTH of being a client, Kiele is refusing to return any of my retainer fee so I can hire another lawyer. This is dishonest and deceitful. Keep your money and do your research.
