I wrote a review but they had it removed because it was truthful. She should NOT be a minor's counsel. She did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for our case, did not fight for my kids, did not visit the homes, knew the mom was alienating kids for the 2nd time, did absolutely nothing except file for fees to be paid to her. All she cared about was getting paid from the county of LA. She doesn't have kids, or cares about them.

Kendra and her team of professionals were responsive and helpful in navigating an intimidating and complex legal process. Kendra was appointed to represent my kids in a custody situation and she handled the interviews with class and understood the effect this process was having on the family and advocated for the kids. She was independent and while family law court pits one parent against another, she sorted through the minutia and emotions to recommend what was best for the kids, even when us adults were acting childish. I feel she was fair, did not choose one side or the other just had my kids best interests in mind even when it did not suit my needs and wants. If she gets appointed as minors counsel in your case I highly recommend being cooperative and helpful during the process and she will be more than fair during court.

Kendra is simply awesome....She's very knowledgeable of the Los Angeles and Denver area court systems, her patience, understanding and compassion are qualities that serve her well in any kind of case. I contacted Thomas Law Offices for a legal issue at work and Kendra was awesome. She was responsive and took care of my matter as efficiently as possible. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do, she will be the one for me!

She was assigned to be minor's counsel to represent my 2 stepsons in a decade-long custody battle with the bio mother. We've been assigned minor's counsel in the past and knew what to expect. She did not do any of the following (including but not limited to): no interviews of friends/family were conducted, she did not acquire any of their past school records or medical records, she never visited either party's homes, she never even met her clients, the two children. She admitted mom was alienating the children from dad, and even recognized that this is mom's 2nd ALIENATION case (she has kept her eldest daughter from her father for over a decade), Ms. Thomas took no action whatsoever. Now mom is permitted to move away with the children, and we are convinced we'll never see them again. Our case ended in complete heartbreak. Maybe there's a slim chance she's ok at divorce w/o minor children, but she should not represent children any longer.
