I had the displeasure of working with Michael Sutton as an attorney with Morgan & Morgan. My wife was injured when she was hit, stopped at a red light, by a young lady at 30+ mph. Mr Sutton ignored the case for years and the defendant moved to another state. When I asked if her Insurance company moved also he had no reply. He was very poor about returning phone calls or providing information. When we were finally offered mediation and accepted a $20,000 settlement, we ended up with a $6,000 check. When we asked where the money went he mentioned there was a referral fee to be paid, not mentioned at the time of settlement. Poor communication at best, extremely deceptive at the least.
