Kent and his team were amazing to work with on my construction defect case. Honest, communicative, and personable. Kent was always upfront on what the most efficient and effective route was, he was not concerned about maximizing his hours and my cost. I hope to never work with an attorney again but if I have to, Kent is my first call!

Kent is awesome and a brilliant attorney. He is extremely knowledgeable in real estate law including deeds, transfers, reassessments, etc. He is not only sharp as a tack, but also very kind and caring. I highly recommend his team for any real estate needs.

Kent has an amazing ability to remember precise details from 2 years ago in my highly adversarial divorce. He makes calculated decisions based on his extensive experience in family law. Kent understands the process. Kent understood what it would take to win against an ex who gamed the system. This worked out well.

I'm on the fence about this firm. Kent seemed enthusiastic during our first meeting which gave me a good feeling about coming to a resolution fairly quickly with a fair and equitable outcome. I have a simple divorce case that should have been completed within 6-12 months. The opposing party's strategy was to drag the dissolution out as much as possible so I would suffer mentally and financially, and play legal games with false accusations, etc.(we all know what these are), which I have gracefully accepted; Kent's firm knew this and ended up entertaining these accusations. Consequently, Along with the fact that CA judges are against men in general, this firm was not able to speak on my behalf and be heard on several occasions in the courtroom and in follow-up meetings. My uncle told me to wear a dress next time I'm in court to see if there would be any equality!(I might actually try this). Kent and his team failed to produce in this regard and instead, blamed the rulings on "the law." Even with discounts applied, the Tierney Law Group buried me with $45K in legal fees(even with discounts), which I was unable to afford. What's unfortunate is that there are many years of experience in this office, and i'm fearful that it's: 1 year of experience over and over. Communucation is also very difficult with Kent in that he prefers emailing clients at 0100-0300 for unknown reasons. This case is still ongoing(almost a year since filing); I am now representing myself. I'm no bill gates(apparently) and shouldn't be paying someone $4613.00 a month in child support and alimony on a $100k/yr salary. Should I say, "Thank you for allowing me to go through the cleaners, Mr. Tierney"? All the way around! Unless you have substantial disposable finances and don't mind expensive attorneys, I wouldn't recommend this firm. Maybe I should have sprung for a less-expensive option from the beginning? This is NOT a disgruntled review. This is my honest opinion. Feel free to message me if anyone has any questions as I'd be more than happy to answer.

If you're reading this review all I have to say is stop reading and make an appointment. Kent is one in a million. He goes above and beyond and actually cares about his clients. He has exceeded all of our expectations in every way possible to ensure that our needs are met. He is patient and understanding, and he takes the time to explain things in a way that is easy for his clients to understand. I cannot recommend Kent enough. He has truly gone above and beyond for us in every way possible. If you are in need of a lawyer, do not hesitate to contact Kent. You will not be disappointed!
