I would pay attention to some of the other negative reviews. 4k gone, zero results. He ignored my preferences about negotiating, the fact that there is a clear cut precedent for defense in my case (and case law to go with it), and the fact that the officer who showed up to court was not even the one who pulled me over. I am fairly sure the officer who did quit the force. He seemed more concerned with maintaining his connections and just lessening punishment rather than getting a charge rightfully dismissed. His office was also very sketchy on details of when I was supposed to go to court or not.

I worked with Doug Hazelton in Summer/Fall 2024. He was a listening ear, professional and thorough with all my questions and concerns. He and his team exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely recommend him for your legal needs in this field.

Jeff Martin came on board to help my fiancé in a DUI (+ other charges) case after her first attorney was removed, and he was incredible. His understanding and guidance was better than any other attorney I have personally ever used for a similar charge years ago, his attention to detail was amazing and his responsiveness to every need or question we had was immediate. (when not in court on another case of course). Jeff literally went out of his way on occasions just to make sure my fiancé was hanging in there on what could have been life changing verdicts and got a result (positive) that I never expected would be possible. As someone who unfortunately had to retain many attorneys in my earlier life, I can say with all honesty that Jeff Martin was the best, most organized, most prepared and kindest, most genuine attorney I have ever met. Simply incredible.

I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer , Mr Martin was excellent! He communicated with me from start to finish and was always upfront and informative. Without him, things could have been terrible for me. Due to his expertise & knowledge, he was able to reduce my charges greatly. I owe him so much, me and my family, are very grateful for him. Years ago I was represented by this firm. There was a lot of talk about how “I wrote the book on legally defending” my specific case. Now years latter after being represented by an amazing attorney (not Tillotson & Martin). I now realize how Martin did nothing for me. Not a single attempt to reduce or dismiss. Money wasted for something I could have done myself. All these 5 star reviews is BS. I am not a discrontal customer and the fault is truly on me for buying g into it. I was young, first time in trouble, and truly understanding the system. The fact is, he talked a great game but did absolutely nothing in the courtroom except look for the first settlement. As I stated before, about 10 years latter. The 2nd time I chose to be an idiot I made another mistake (questionable). I hired a highly recommended attorney and the difference was day and night. They actually fought for me in the court room and he stood his ground. Nothing like my experience with these people. I won that case (completely dismissed) and now that I look back. I realize I was taken advantage of by these clowns. If you’re military then stay away. You are there target audience!!! I own my mistakes if I do them in which I did. I just wish, looking back I choose better attorneys to help me work through them. Please believe when I say, there reviews are BS and they do not have your best interest in mind except your money!!!! Thousands of dollars spent and the entire case was resolved within 10 minutes of them calling my name. This was based on their recommendations. Now that I’m older, wiser, and have experience with attorneys who actually care. I now understand that they did not even attempt to fight. The just settled!!
