I went through Patrick Smith a few years back for a worker's comp issue I had. I believe I got the bare minimum in respect to how an attorney should work for their client. When I had questions, it would only be the secretary I was able to talk to, and when I did talk with Mr. Smith, he seemed impatient with me. I do not believe he fully prepared me for what was coming in my case, and I felt alone during the whole process, even with legal representation backing me. I don't know if he was just afraid of the company it was in relation to, or just not worth his time, but years later, I am still suffering the consequences. I believe if I had another attorney, things could have ended a lot differently regarding how my case ended, and was closed completely, without me being fully aware and advised on the situation.
