I hired David B. Sherman during a very tumultuous time when I had a lot of confusion and fear about what I was facing in family court. From day one, David was kind, thoughtful, and thorough in explaining my options and keeping me very aware of the costs I would be facing. He's been incredibly responsive and professional and a pillar of strength and calm in our hearings. He and I have a while to be working together, and I don't feel that I could be in more capable hands. He is hands down one of the most patient and empathetic attorneys I've encountered. About a decade ago our family needed help creating a Durable General Power of Attorney and Healthcare Power of Attorney. We chose Weaver, Bennett & Bland because they are conveniently located in downtown Matthews next to Renfroe’s Hardware. We had used other attorneys before, but were very pleased with the friendly, thorough, and professional approach of Eran Weaver, one of the senior partners. Recently, our family situation changed, and we needed to update our Wills and Powers of Attorney again. We chose to use Eran Weaver again. Everything again went easily, smoothly and was completed at a reasonable price. The final products were extensive and provided in stylish packages for easy storage and handling. The office is modern, clean, neat, well organized and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We also had a need this year to update the Will and Powers of Attorney for my 98-year-old mother, so naturally we chose Weaver, Bennett & Bland again. This time WB&B excelled beyond all expectations. Because my mom is in a nursing care facility in the area, she was not able to come into the office. Eran made it easy by meeting on a couple occasions with my mom and me in her room to get everything done. He conveniently provided a Notary and Witness when they were required. In addition, Eran showed us the advantages of creating a Trust to facilitate and simplify the handling of her estate. I am so glad that he took the time to clearly explain options to us because it will make a huge difference in how her estate is handled. I’ll use them again and recommend you use them too if you live in the Matthews area.

I just called this place a so-called business. I spoke with a lady briefly. She placed me on hold for a few minutes. A man picked up the phone shortly afterwards. I believe he stated his name was Eran Weaver .I was calling to obtain counsel and /or representation for a probate proceeding that needs to be resolved immediately. Weaver being that its your office. You did my closing, on my house some 17 years ago. I figured I would give your office the first opportunity to finalize this process. But your phone demeanor and phone persona was very abrupt. I was always told. A personality and delivery, rather over the phone or in person is imperative. So your company, lost out on a REPEAT customer, as well as $$$$ for you being a prick. My mother used Eran Weaver to prepare her Will, POA, etc, and then I used them again to handle her estate after she passed away in 2015. I had Eran prepare my documents as well. They did an excellent job on everything. I moved ( as well as my daughters) and I contacted Eran to find out if I needed to have our addresses changed on the documents. After we discussed what I thought needed to be changed, he said it was not necessary. Having been in the corporate world for many years, it was unusual to talk to a lawyer without getting billed for their time. I asked him to send me a bill and he said I didn't owe him anything. Everyone I have met there are very personable as well as professional. I would recommend the firm to everyone.

Bill Whittaker has represented me for the past couple of years, and I feel confident in his representation. He is very experienced and detail driven. Mr. Whittaker is fair and compassionate but can be assertive when appropriate. He is exceptional with dates and following up on tasks the moment they are due. I am personally appreciative of that.
