We recently worked with Alex, Nancy and the entire firm to facilitate our new home purchase. I can't say enough positive things about this firm. They were endlessly professional, detail-oriented, transparent, sensible and fair. As you can imagine, purchasing a new home is inherently stressful, with so much uncertainty if you don't have the right attorney to explain each step clearly and thoroughly. Moreover, Alex and his team are not only top-notch professionals, they're kind, empathetic and understanding. I recommend this firm without restraint. It was an outstanding experience and an absolutely pleasure to work with them.

Whatever you do... Be sure to have everything and signed off by all parties during contract signing. He agreed to a payment arrangement via email as an addendum to contract and a few days prior to closing, he changed his mind about it and his client refused to make payment that they initially agreed to. In addition, he didn’t seem to understand that the STAR program is a tax relief program and recipients can use funds as they wish (not only for co-op fees). He was very RUDE when I tried having a dialougue with him about it during the closing... “I cannot argue with your client” and refused to accept responsibility for his previous arrangement. I recommend that he take accountability and refund this payment to my lawyer who winded up footing the bill to avoid further arguments.
