Candace Hayworth was an amazing lawyer. I found her law firm week prior to my court date and she accepted to represent me with the short notice. She is very knowledgeable in her field, reason being just by me explaining my case she told me that I was being wrongfully charged. In the end that was the out come which led to my case being dismissed.Highly recommend her prestige level of service.

John Thompson has been nothing short of remarkable to work with. I am a realtor and he represented the seller in a very difficult transaction that I was on the buyer side for. Mr. Thompson did everything in his power to get us to the closing table! Along with his assistant, Caitlynn! I will absolutely be recommending this firm to all of my Raeford clients from now on. Just a super team.

If I could, I would not give any stars for this law firm. I am extremely disappointed with the service we received. We hired this firm for a custody case, but we never even made it to the courtroom. Despite spending $7000, we ended up settling with the other party on our own. It took them a month to file crucial paperwork, and I believe that better communication could have prevented unnecessary charges of $150 each time I had to inquire. Unless you are a wealthy and looking to spend tons, I do not recommend retaining Regina Sutherland's law office. Essentially, we felt like we gave them $7000 as a Christmas gift. I suggest looking for alternative representation.

I didn’t meet Mrs Sutherland until minutes before my mediation began. Early on I was given inaccurate advice that negatively affected the outcome of my case. I expected more for what this attorney cost me. I ended up having to settle for more than the plaintiff originally asked for. In life you usually get what you pay for. In this case I payed a lot more than what I got. Over $8,000 and my case never even made it to court. And they are still finding things to bill me for. Just because someone has a law degree and license doesn’t make them a good attorney. I’m not sure if them moving from a temporary office into a new building had anything to do with it but yes that happened as well. I’m sure this office has done a lot of good things for a lot of people. Just not for me. I guess I didn’t fall into the important clients list. If at the last second you need an attorney and can’t find anyone else then yes, but if you have the time to find another attorney. I would suggest you keep looking.
