HORRIBLE ATTORNEYnnI hired William Penn to handle a medical malpractice case/personal injury and paid him a $2,500.00 retainer fee and never heard from him again. No return calls or letters - he basically just stole my money and never responded.nnPresently, Mr. Penn claims he only practices law in Arizona and Nevada. I hired him in 1993 approx. At that time, he claimed to be able to practice law in California. He is the only attorney named William Penn on public record in the Tri-state area. Therefore, I know this is the right person.nnIt took me several years to get my money back through the California State Bar Association. The California State Bar has a system to refund money to those who have been defrauded or cheated by crooked attorneys.nnWhen I spoke with the California State Bar, they told me, Mr. Penn has three options:nn1)tHe can refund the money he owes younn2)tHe can resignnn3)tHe can diennApparently, he chose the second option.nnWilliam Penn is a total flake.nnAVOID AT ALL COSTS ! ! !
