Ms. Spires provided me expert legal advice and never steered me wrong throughout my contested divorce case. She was recommended to me through the FL Bar Association for Men's Rights and for military family cases. Without exception, mine was a stressful case, crossing state jurisdictions and while deployed and commencing my military retirement. Several stressors occurring simultaneously, yet she kept me well-advised throughout the process, which helped me dedicate time through each of my life events and know exactly how to focus my efforts for my case while keeping my children as a priority.
Filed for divorce. No kids or property. Simple right? Paid a large sum for 2 depositions that turns out were never going to be admitted into the trial. Poor communication and the whole process took so long that my wife and I got back together again. Found out that between constant miscommunication with the lawyer, my wife, and I made the ongoing divorce proceedings more complex and frustrating than they should have been. Information such as settlement negotiations were not conveyed to the other party which caused more resentment and anger that could have easily been resolved had communication occurred. nI should have kept the money that was paid to her and went on a heckuva cruise with the wife and paid for a top notch counseling. If you decide to divorce, don't waste your money on this firm.
Winter provided excellent legal advice and excellent client service. She tackled a complex family custody matter for my family and came highly recommended! I'd recommend her without question! Hire Winter Spires & Associates, P.A.
I thought I'd provide an update in response to the "positive" reviews from other clients...after I wrote my first review while we were separated, Mrs. Spires convinced my husband to offset my negative review by coaching him on what to say for his own google review for her firm to bring her google rating back up lol He said he only did it so that she would work harder and not keep dropping the ball on his case. Wow. #ethicsviolationsfordays...Aaaannnddd...we're still very happily married Mrs. Spires. #alienationofaffectionfailnnMrs.Spires is correct. She did not represent me, she "represented" my husband. As a matter of fact, she engaged in such egregiously irresponsible conduct that I think we are considering filing a lawsuit for her interference in our marriage. You will get billed for everything, including work she did not perform. She consistently engages in deceptive business practices. She also does not follow the law ie: she was supposed to provide me a copy of my deposition when it was ordered but failed to do so. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. My husband had no idea he was being duped to the tune of $25,000 until I showed him everything. Thankfully because of her misconduct, misrepresentation, and fraudulent practices, she caused the divorced to drag out so long that my husband and I are now reconciled. So maybe I should be thanking her for being such a terrible attorney. Mrs. Spires, I advise you to take your comments about me off of this site. I never claimed I was a client. But as the pro se litigant that opposed you in my legal matter I do have experience with you. However, my husband was your client, and he will leave you a review of his own. #divorcelawyerfail
This office was very stressful to communicate with and when you address your concern, they get a bit definseve like your the one who has the problem. Communication was lacking to say the least. You pretty much had to stay on top and follow up on your own case.
