Highly highly recommend not using Chris! 6 months and waiting for closing on property! Amber is very unprofessional ..Been told by many realtors that they are fighting for there commission from the closings. Stay very very far away from these guys! Edit called at 8 am as there google page states they are open.. 8:37 they answered.. not sure why the closing wasn’t done when they don’t show up to work on time. They are extremely rude, and unprofessional! They hung up the phone on me as I was trying to speak to them in regards to them completing a job they were hired to do! Thanks Chris and crew for a job not done!

A very unpleasant experience. Bowes was rude and did not seem to have any interest in answering questions or being helpful at all, and seems annoyed with having to provide the service he's being paid for. Amber was friendly and nice. Communication overall with the firm was difficult, response time is slow. I would not recommend this firm and will not return.

I couldn't recommend Bowes to anyone. When we purchased a home, he cost us thousands in home repairs that were supposed to be escrowed from the sellers at closing. We bought a house January of 2020. We knew from the inspection that the house needed a new sewer line, so we worked with Bowes and he suggested having the sellers put the money into an escrow that we could access for the repair up to 6 months after closing. We and the sellers signed multiple versions of an addendum saying this, to the point where everyone was happy with the details. We received no communication from Bowes about any issues before closing. No emails, no calls, to us or our realtor. We assumed everything was good to go. So we went to closing- again, no mention of any issues- and bought our home. A few months later when we go to access the escrow, suddenly Bowes doesn't have it. Didn't we get his email with the latest version of the addendum?! (No) Oh well, you didn't sign that and your realtor didn't either, so we didn't take the money from the sellers before closing. We and the sellers had already signed several previous versions of the addendum, and both us and our realtor never received this "latest version". Bowes knew that we hadn't signed and never called or emailed to make sure we signed before closing. He knew we thought we had access to the money and let us close on the house. (Also, regardless, the previous version signed by all parties should have applied and the money escrowed.) When we confronted him about it, he blamed his secretary, then his interim secretary, then our realtor, and finally us. We ended up having to pay close to $10,000 for the repair, out of pocket. This was an expense we were not expecting, since Bowes had the escrow taken care of, as far as we knew. The sellers had already moved out of state at this point, and Bowes refused responsibility, so there was little we could do. We briefly met with an attorney, as we had everything in writing and there was clear fault. But, since he knew Bowes, he couldn't represent us, and it was difficult to find someone who didn't have a connection. The attorney tried calling Bowes to see if there was anything he had to say or offer, and Bowes refused. We decided just to take the loss, as court fees would likely be higher than the escrow amount, but I wanted others to know what could happen to you if you choose Bowes. I don't want others to lose money, too. *Do not use Bowes.* If you have to, only use him for the simplest of closings, because he apparently can't handle making sure details are in place. $10k may not be much to his firm, but it is to a first time homeowner.

My husband and I began a divorce in April of 2020. This was a simple, uncontested, consensual divorce. No fighting, no disagreements. No child support, no alimony no disagreements about property. I am still waiting!!!! I cannot move on and buy a house without my final divorce papers. Do your job!! No body answers the phone or returns phone calls. This is so ridiculous. Undetectable, unresponsive and just plain laziness. Update: I received my final Divorce papers December 17th 2021. I would NEVER recommend this company for divorce, you work with the Paralegal or secretary because they do the work.
