I was referred to James Montalbano by NM Legal Aid, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. From the start, he didn’t seem very personable and gave the impression he was primarily interested in the financial aspect. I barely had the chance to share my full story; when I mentioned it was a long one, he cut me off and asked for the ‘short version.’ Even then, he interrupted me with a loud sigh and questioned why I couldn’t just move on. I explained that, while I have moved on, I believe companies should be held accountable for treating employees unfairly. His response was blunt—stating that he doesn’t know what damages I could seek and no lawyer would take a case without a financial incentive. I understand his point, but the way he said it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend him to anyone seeking understanding or empathy. I later consulted with a different attorney who was much more compassionate and provided alternative options to explore.

Excellent worker Gabriel Valdez is a honest professional worker i would love to recommend to anyone even with this covid she still came through quickly.
