If you want your attorney to treat your business matter as a priority, DO NOT HIRE EDWARD ZOHN! If you expect your attorney to respond to your phone calls and email communications in a timely manner, DO NOT HIRE EDWARD ZOHN! If you expect your attorney to be proactive and keep you updated regarding what is happening with your business matter, DO NOT HIRE EDWARD ZOHN! I hired Edward in early February 2023 to handle my divorce. After weeks of leaving phone messages on his voicemail and sending emails with no response, I decided to visit Edward's office in mid March unannounced seeking an update on my case. Needless to say he was shocked to see me and did not have any answers for me. Edward didn't have answers for me because after taking my money to file the divorce over 5 weeks prior, he still had not filed the divorce with the court. Instead, he attempted to turn the tables around and labeled me as aggressive because I showed up unannounced requesting an update. To be labeled aggressive because I'm asking for an update on my case is not only unprofessional, it was disrespectful and rude considering I had done everything he asked and he didn't do his part. Fast forward to July 2023, I received an update once again after showing up to Edward's office unannounced because he didn't return any of my phone calls or email communications. I received an affidavit from the process server company Edward uses named Guaranteed Subpoena Service, Inc. advising that they were not able to serve my wife the divorce papers because they were advised the person they were to serve no longer lives there and a forwarding address wasn't left for the person they were trying to serve. I informed Edward the person that told his process servers my wife no longer lives at the residence was indeed my wife. Even after sharing that information, Edward did nothing to move matters forward. He did not devise a plan and he did not take any further action with my case. He did not communicate at all other than to defend his inactivity and lack of representation on my case. I heard nothing but excuses from Edward Zohn. He disclosed that he was going through a lot personally. He then said he was tied up preparing to take his kids back to college as the excuse for not giving my case the attention it deserves. Fast forward to October 2023, I received a letter from the court advising that my case was dismissed due to a lack of prosecution by Attorney Edward Zohn! What a waste of time, money, and resources I have spent dealing with Edward Zohn. Never again! Buyer beware. Don't say you haven't been warned!
