In my many years of experience as a lawyer defending clients who they've sued, unfortunately, I run into them a lot. I find them to be one of the sloppiest and most careless law firms I have ever run into. They don't even return telephone messages from lawyers so I can only imagine how disrespectfully they treat debtors. I hesitate to even give these people a 1 star.
Got halfway through training. Had a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital and was told by trainer that they would work with you for reasons of absence like that. HR called and confirmed my absence, even heard the doctor talking to me and said they would call back. They did a few hours later and fired me. Clearly they care more about their company than people.
I have no debt and yet they still decided to garnish my wages. The "lawyer" who made the decision to garnish my wages has not talked to me and I have contacted them multiple times. He also has not worked to give me my money back. They are very unprofessional and really do not know how to do their jobs. What they have done feels very illegal..
Well they are a collection agency or sorry collection lawyers for companies like Discover, American Express, and Diners Club. Why 4 stars? Like who rates a collector 4 stars? Well, my circumstances that led me to non payment were resolved. I contacted them to make payment arrangements. I paid my debt to discover over time and then I called in to settle the debt for one final payment. We went 3 rounds before we settled. End result I paid less than what I owed. I know, I know; credit wise that's still a negative. Welp, the account was reported as current with $0 balance and my score increased 30 points. My results may be unique, I don't know... I just say don't be afraid to contact them and negotiate. You don't have accept their offer; I didn't and they asked to give them a number. Then I asked for my credit to be updated to current paid. I got what I negotiated
This company has continued to garnish my wages during the covid 19 outbreak. the household wages have been cut due to hospitals and residential work being affected but this virus.. the debt is our fault understandably but these are trying times and we are being hurt by this garnishment.
