Michael was born and raised in Florida. He spent much of his youth working in orange groves and watermelon fields in Central Florida. Thomas Gilbert is an attorney licensed in Florida and New Jersey. Mr. Gilbert received his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social sciences from the University of Tampa and his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Riverview, Florida. While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Gilbert interned at the St. Michael’s Legal Center, a pro bono legal clinic focusing on family law issues. After graduating from law school, Mr. Gilbert served as a judicial law clerk in the Family Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. During his clerkship, Mr. Gilbert conducted legal research, analyzed legal data, and prepared legal memoranda for the Family Division judges. After his clerkship, Mr. Gilbert worked in private practice at two midsize family law firms before joining The Law Offices of Robert Geller. Rick Jacobs earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. Rick Jacobs was admitted to the Florida Bar and served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade before private practice.

Aaron was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force just weeks after 9/11, serving as both a flight medic and a police officer. While deployed several times, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Phoenix. Following his military service, Aaron worked as a federal officer for the Department of Homeland Security. He led and managed multiple large teams responding to disasters and civil unrest across the United States. During this time, he witnessed the destruction caused by natural disasters firsthand. Aaron later earned a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from Regis University.
