R. Evan Bassett has joined Neri Law Group as Of Counsel to the firm and has been licensed to practice law in Florida for over 20 years. R. Evan Bassett is a fifth generation Floridian, who graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School and obtained his undergraduate degree from Furman University, where he majored in Spanish and speaks Spanish fluently. Mr. Bassett ultimately moved on to obtain his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Bassett began his career as an Assistant State Attorney, where he spent three years before transitioning to a career in Plaintiff’s work. Evan is also on the executive committee for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is a board certified Civil Trail Lawyer and concentrates his practice solely on advocating for people injured in accidents. Born and raised in Miami Florida, Daniel Frank Lopez is the Managing Partner at The Morgan Law Group, whose primary practice focuses on first-party insurance litigation. Since 2012, Mr. Lopez has been with The Morgan Law Group focusing on his first-party insurance property disputes, which ranges in matters from typical homeowner insurance disputes to multi-million dollar commercial property claims. Mr. Lopez also oversees and litigates a wide variety of matters, including complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance and professional liability matters.

Andres Alfonso, a Bogota, Colombia native who was raised in Miami, is a dedicated first-party property insurance attorney in our Miami office. Andres’s educational journey began at Doral Academy Preparatory, where he excelled in both academics and sports, specifically five years of Varsity soccer. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at Spring Hill College, where he showcased his soccer prowess as a Division II athlete for all four years. Throughout his undergraduate years, Andres actively engaged in community service initiatives, such as tutoring underprivileged students and teaching English to immigrants, reflecting his deep commitment to social impact. He also played a vital role in a program called “Belong,” where he assisted Central Immigrants in navigating the challenging landscape of being undocumented immigrants in Alabama. Furthermore, Andres displayed exceptional leadership as the Fundraising Chair for the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, successfully raising over $10,000.00 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. His dedication to philanthropy and community outreach exemplifies his compassionate nature and strong sense of social responsibility. After earning his undergraduate degree, Andres opted to take a two-year gap to explore life beyond the confines of academia. Lori has a passion for helping those in need who cannot speak or stand up for themselves. After graduating with a bachelor’s in psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Central Florida she made the decision to obtain her master’s degree in social work to help the most vulnerable population- children. After working with high-risk children and adolescents for several years, she decided to return to school and obtain her law degree at Florida State University, where she graduated With Honors in 2005. Since 2005, Lori has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in many areas of law including personal injury, employment law, and contract disputes. Prior to joining MLG, Lori was a partner at a small law insurance defense firm and a Litigation Manager for a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. The majority of Lori’s spare time is spent on the soccer field watching her two boys play soccer. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling with her husband and two boys. Lori is an avid animal lover and has five fur children (three dogs and two cats).

Brian Belt is an AV-rated attorney, practicing real estate, hospitality and corporate law. Before opening Acevedo Belt, P.A. in 2017, Brian served as a partner in large international and state-wide law firms. Throughout his career, Brian has represented international, national and local corporate clients and owners, lenders and developers of real estate in matters related to a variety of asset classes, including hotels, mixed-use projects, office, multi-family, office/industrial parks, condominiums, retail, and marina projects throughout the country and internationally. His experience includes acquisitions and sales, due diligence, restructuring, land use, leasing, construction and financing. He served as the co-chair of the Hospitality Practice Groups of a large national firm and a large Florida-based firm. He has extensive experience in acquiring, structuring, developing, financing and restructuring complex mixed-use projects and mixed-use hospitality projects. Brian also has worked on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint venture structuring, contract review, bond financings, and corporate finance. Michael was born and raised in Florida. He spent much of his youth working in orange groves and watermelon fields in Central Florida. Michael knows the roots of this community and works hard to help people in all circumstances. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Utah State University in 2008, Michael pursued a law degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law. He graduated in 2011 and was admitted to the Florida Bar. Michael is also licensed to practice law in Georgia. While in school, Michael interned with the State Attorney's Office and went on to work as an Assistant State Attorney. He learned the criminal justice system first hand and found his passion for criminal defense. In addition to his background working on criminal cases, Michael also has experience in resolving family law and civil litigation.

Over the past fourteen years, he has represented litigants in some of the most notable fraud-based disputes in United States history. As a former judicial clerk to Judge William P. Dimitrouleas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Constantine assisted the Judge in adjudicating over 100 civil cases. Before founding Dynamis, Constantine was a partner in an elite litigation boutique and also worked with large national firms in New York and Florida on numerous matters involving securities, international, and class action litigation. He represented the Securities Investor Protection Corporation as part of the team that recovered over $11 billion on behalf of the victims of Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. He also recovered funds on behalf of investors defrauded by failed blood-testing company Theranos, Inc. and its infamous founder, Elizabeth Holmes. Constantine currently represents an array of clients in complex domestic and international disputes involving crypto assets, securities, and commercial contracts. Additionally, Constantine recently became an arbitrator for Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.
