Farooq A. Esani spent his early years in Karachi, Pakistan. He moved to U.S. in 1986 as a student to attend the University of Houston. Being an immigrant himself, he is passionate about immigration issues and understands the harsh realities of settling and assimilating into a new culture. Mr. Esani did his undergraduate work in the field of Business Administration and earned his Master’s in Accounting and Taxation. As a Certified Public Accountant, he held various financial and tax positions with American General Corporation and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Esani received his law degree in 1999, graduating Cum Laude. Mr. Esani is authorized to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas and all Immigration Courts. Mr. Esani served as an Immigration Associate for the prestigious firm of Thompson & Knight, LP until 2000, when he entered the private practice of law. Mr. Esani devotes his practice to family and employment-based immigration, employer sanctions and naturalization, as well as some litigation. As a community leader, Mr. Esani has conducted numerous public seminars on immigration matters. In addition, Mr. Esani serves on the board of various community associations and provides legal assistance to community health and financial institutions. Farooq A.
