Karen Ulmer is an attorney licensed to practice in both PA & NJ. Ms. Ulmer founded the law firm in 2001, concentrating her practice in the area of family law. Ms. Ulmer grew up in the Lower Bucks area. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Duke University in Durham, NC where she was the president of the Psychology Major's Union. She obtained her J.D. degree in 1995 from Widener University School of Law and where she served on the SBA and continues to serve on the Board of the Alumni Association since 2005. Ms. Ulmer obtained an advanced law degree in the area of Securities Law from Georgetown University Law Center in 1996.Ms.Ulmer is an active member of the Family Law section of the Bucks County Bar Association and has held offices in the YLD. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. She has been active in the high school mock trial competition for over fifteen years, and serves as the regional coordinator for Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties. Ms.Ulmer  has been active in the AYUSA foreign exchange program and has hosted students from several countries. She is a trained mediator and focuses on resolving conflicts.Ms. Ulmer practices in the areas of family & matrimonial law as well as estates. She has served on the Board of the Peace Center in Langhorne, PA and currently serves on the Board of the YWCA. She has coached t-ball, and enjoys performing with the Vineyard Gypsies in her spare time.

My Journey... I first thought of pursuing a career as an attorney when I was taking a course in the inequalities of our judicial system during my undergrad work at Penn State. By the time I finished that course, I had made up my mind to attend law school and become an attorney. Once I graduated law school and passed the Bar Exam, the first area of law I practiced was a Pro-Bono case involving child custody. Today I still practice Family Law as well as Real Estate and Estate Planning, Criminal, Business, Probate and Contracts. My Focus... I love these areas of law because I am a people person and all of these areas of practice bring me face to face with real people. Helping people through the most difficult time in there life during a divorce or helping people embark on a wonderful moment in their life by helping them buy their first home, either way I am here to help and enjoy what I do. I know it sound cliche, but I truly enjoy helping people...that is what it is all about. Helping real people with real problems and guiding them through with as little stress as possible. My Mission... I offer my clients personal attention, customer service and caring and compassionate legal assistance. I pride myself in always calling my clients back when they call me. Amy is a graduate of Drexel University, holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and International Area Studies. Following graduation from college, she earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Since law school she has practiced in various areas of civil litigation including real estate, commercial, personal injury, and bankruptcy. Jerry M. Lehocky is a partner at Pond Lehocky Giordano, LLP. Mr. Lehocky has been a litigator of workers' compensation and Social Security since being admitted to practice in 1985. Initially, his practice involved representing employers and insurance companies. In 1991, Mr. Lehocky began representing claimants exclusively in the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security disability. A former chairman of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Workers' Compensation Section (for 12 consecutive years), Mr. Lehocky served as a consultant to several Pennsylvania governors as well as numerous state senators and representatives on workers' compensation issues. He co-authored “House Bill 2738,” which created the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund. This fund provides workers' compensation benefits to injured workers whose employers do not carry workers' compensation insurance. The bill was signed into law by Governor Rendell on November 9, 2006, and was the first piece of workers' compensation legislation in favor of injured workers to become law in over 30 years. Mr. Lehocky continues to serve on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and was previously on the Board of Directors of the Volunteers for the Indigent Program. A 2008 graduate of the University of Delaware, Mr. Solomon taught high school advanced placement psychology before earning his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2012. As a law student, Mr. Solomon took part in Hofstra’s Mediation Clinic, mediating numerous family law disputes and supervision cases. He was certified to mediate divorce disputes cases and PINS cases in New York. Also while a student, he clerked in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for the Honorable Annette M. Rizzo. In 2015 Mr. Solomon received his L.L.M in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law. He focuses his practice on personal injury matters, as well as leads Dion, Solomon & Shapiro’s Landlord-Tenant Litigation Department representing both landlords and tenants in disputes.
