Frank Barat | Attorney

Frank Barat is a skilled personal injury attorney who represents clients in a variety of accident cases, including car and truck accidents, workplace injuries, and premises liability. With experience on both sides of injury cases, Frank uses his unique perspective to navigate the complexities of insurance claims while advocating for maximum recovery. Throughout his legal career in East Texas, Frank has represented individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in complex legal matters, including automobile accidents, workplace incidents, wrongful death cases, and commercial disputes. He also provides pro bono representation for minor children in personal injury and CPS removal cases. Frank earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review and is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Texas.

Frank is actively involved in his community, serving on the boards of Keep Tyler Beautiful and the Smith County Young Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar College, and the Smith County Bar Association, where he was recognized as the “Outstanding Young Lawyer” in 2023. A “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers in 2022 and 2023, Frank lives in Tyler with his wife and children and is an active member of St. Francis Episcopal Church
