Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
We made a big difference in getting a large commercial real estate deal closed on time by coordinating all of the reports and drafting all of the entity documents, reviewing all of the loan document and negotiating changes favoring my client, coordinating with the title company to assure all credits were given and negotiating with the Seller when necessary. Finally assuring the closing happened on time at the agreed price with all credits to the party I represented. We made a big difference in a residential purchase by breaking a log jam that would have prevented the closing by going to the municipality and getting its cooperation though personal negotiation. Getting permission to review Seller's submission to the City assisted my client's negotiating position. We made a big difference in a lawsuit claiming a fraudulent conveyance of a private residence by making a deed to the client's wife. We won the case on summary judgement, and saved the client's house.
How did you build a successful practice?
By doing outstanding work people who we worked for recommend us to others, people on the other side of deals asked us to represent them on other deals which turned into general representation on all of their real estate, brokers we have worked with a have recommended us to different clients of theirs for projects.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Integrity, intelligence, experience in similar matters to the one they have that needs an attorney. Fairness in charging fees.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Somewhat, I is much more important to satisfy a client and have that client recommend you.

That depends on what is needed. Frequently we can identify the issue and he solution and suggest our fee to conclude the matter.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Achieving client's objectives and earing their respect and praise; developing a successful law practice.

Raising my family of six children. Serving my Creator.

Yes. Religious involvement; I sit on the Board of Trustees of several local and international charitable and a medical service providing organization.
