James “Jim” P. DeLorenzo joined the firm as an associate in 1999 and was named partner in 2001. Mr. DeLorenzo received his B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 1994. Mr. DeLorenzo is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland and in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. His over three decades of legal practice have taken him before virtually every jurisdiction in the State, including the Court of Special Appeals. Mr. DeLorenzo represents clients in domestic relations, criminal defense and personal injury matters. In the domestic relations area of his practice, Mr. DeLorenzo assists clients in drafting/negotiating Separation Agreements, obtaining divorces and litigating custody/visitation. Additionally, he is often appointed by the Court to represent children whose parents are involved in litigation related to their custody and/or visitation. Jim also served as the co-chair of the family law section of the Bar Association of Frederick County. Mr. DeLorenzo resides in Frederick County, Maryland with his children.

A.J. Serafini grew up in Hagerstown, Maryland, and is the son of former State Senator Andrew Serafini, Sr. He graduated from Grace Academy in 2005 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Government from Liberty University, graduating summa cum laude in 2008 after just three years. He further pursued his education at Liberty University School of Law, finishing in the top 5 of his class in 2011. During his time at law school, Serafini was active on the moot court board, mentored first-year students, and coordinated the Street Law program, which educates at-risk youth about the law’s significance. He is part of several legal associations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, The National Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
