Recently, in January 2018 Gary obtained an award for a victim of an intentional assault in the amount of $1,100,000.00 and in February through July 2018 awards of $650,000.00, $700,000.00, and $750,000.00 for car accident victims who sustained spinal injuries.  Other noteworthy recent awards include a $250,000.00 jury verdict for a woman who sustained a shoulder and back injury (the offer prior to trial was $25,000.00), $985,000.00 for a man who injured his back at a construction site, a combined total award of $975,000.00 for two persons who slipped and fell on separate occasions at the same apartment building and sustained spinal injuries, $900,000.00 for a woman who slipped and fell on ice and injured her spine, $550,000.00 for a man who sustained knee and shoulder injuries at a construction site, $550,000.00 from the property owner for a woman who suffered injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident on his property and $500,000.00 for a man who sustained spinal injuries as a result of a car accident.
 
Past awards also include $1,350,000.00 for a dog bite victim who aggravated a neck injury and suffered a back injury (this award was the highest award ever for a dog bite victim in Queens County and as per the New York Law Journal, the highest award in NYS for the year ending 2016 for a dog bite victim), $1,000,000.00 for a woman who suffered severe facial lacerations and fractures in a motor vehicle accident, $925,000.00 for a disabled man who suffered a spinal injury resulting from a construction accident at his home, $900,000.00 for a woman severely injured in a motor vehicle accident, $900,000.00 for a man who suffered severe spinal injuries in a motor vehicle accident, and $800,000.00 for a man who also suffered back injuries in a car accident.
