I represented a 60 year old Hispanic Restaurant Manager who was involved in a head-oncollision. As a consequence he fractured his hip. However, he continued to experiencepain and discomfort after his hip healed. His Orthopedic Surgeon had discharged himfrom his care and indicated that he would need no further treatment. However, based onthe nature and extent of his complaints, I suspected that he would be a candidate for a hipreplacement in the very near future. I referred him to the best hip surgeon in San DiegoCounty. That doctor agreed that my client would, in fact, require a bilateral hipreplacement as a consequence of his injuries from this incident. As a result, I was able toobtain a settlement in the amount of $750,000.

I have been able to listen to my clients' physical complaints. I understand when there areindications of a more serious underlying etiology that's been either aggravated or inflicteddue to the trauma sustained.
