Mr. Calabrese is familiar with the courts located throughout the Greater Capital Region; he has represented clients in more than 20 counties. Gennaro has handled both civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Gennaro has focused his practice on civil litigation and criminal defense, and he has tried to verdict both criminal and civil cases. Mr. Calabrese also handles appellate issues and post-verdict relief litigation. He has successfully argued before the Appellate Division Third Department and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Gennaro graduated magna cum laude from the University at Albany and cum laude from Albany Law School. He is admitted in the State of New York, Northern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the New York State Defenders Association.
