About Geoffrey
Geoffrey Orlandi brings to the Kridel Law Group a wealth of litigation experience, having devoted his more than twenty (20) years of practice to the litigation and trial of Civil and Criminal matters. His experience, training, and reputation has resulted in him being designated by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as both a Certified Civil Trial Attorney and a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney.
Mr. Orlandi's diverse background of litigation experience positions him well to represent the needs of clients at the Kridel Law Group. He began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Frederick G. Weber, J.S.C., where he was exposed to trial practice from the judicial perspective. After his judicial clerkship, Mr. Orlandi joined a litigation firm where he had the opportunity to represent a wide array of clients in State and Federal Courts throughout New Jersey.
With that background to draw upon, in 1994 Mr. Orlandi established his own practice where he specialized in criminal trials and complex civil litigation. He handled cases ranging from murder and attempted murder, vehicular homicide, robbery, breach of contract, construction defects, personal injury and civil rights.
Upon joining the Kridel Law Group as a partner in the litigation department, Mr. Orlandi has been focusing on the preparation and trial of several financial and business related matters in Federal District Court and Superior Court. He has tried numerous cases to conclusion, with a substantial jury verdict obtained in a Bergen County trial.
Mr. Orlandi's educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law and an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of South Florida, where he graduated Cum Laude.
Mr. Orlandi is an avid aviation professional and enthusiast, with a commercial pilot's certificate and instrument rating for both single engine and multi engine airplanes. In addition he holds an FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate and Advanced Ground and Instrument Ground Instructor Certificates. When not practicing law, he can often be found flying as a jump pilot for a skydiving operation, providing flight instruction or piloting his own airplane for personal transportation. He gets great satisfaction from flying disadvantaged patients to required medical treatment through the Angel Flight Network, where transportation by air is provided to individuals in need, free of charge.
This firsthand knowledge of the aviation system positions Mr. Orlandi to effectively respond to the needs of his aviation clients in legal matters such as FAA enforcement, NTSB hearings, accidents, and regulatory compliance. In that regard, Mr. Orlandi serves as a Panel Attorney with the AOPA Legal Services Plan.
