Mr. Richardson has both defended employers and brought claims on their behalf in lawsuits in both state and federal courts. The resolution of those claims has caused him to develop much experience in both mediation and jury trials. He also has represented employers in many investigations and administrative proceedings before both federal and state agencies that enforce labor and employment laws, such as the EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor, NLRB, OSHA, OSHRC, Missouri Commission on Human Rights, and Illinois Human Rights Commission. Mr. Richardson has extensive experience both counseling and advocating on behalf of employers concerning issues relating to recruiting and hiring, employee misconduct, sexual harassment, wrongful or retaliatory discharge, wage and hour law, union organizing, unfair labor practices, labor contract negotiation and administration, layoffs and plant closings, workplace safety and health, unfair competition, restrictive covenants, employment-related torts, and workplace privacy.
