About Gilbert

Mr. High's career-long practice in the field of Municipal Law has entailed extensive experience in legislative drafting, subdivision and land development, zoning litigation, public employment issues, local taxation, public contracting, and the law of easements and rights of way. Mr. High lectures regularly on issues pertaining to municipal liability, particularly regarding the maintenance of the Urban Forest, a subject on which he has lectured nationally.

Mr. High also practices in the area of estate planning and administration, particularly in the administration of complex estates, the creation and administration of trusts, and representation in Orphan's Court litigation.

Professionally, Mr. High has served as Chairman of the Municipal Law and the Judiciary Committees of the Montgomery Bar Association and as a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. From 1968 to 1969, he was an Assistant District Attorney for Montgomery County.

Service to the community has been a life-long commitment of Mr. High. He has for many years served as a trustee of Abington Memorial Hospital, as an elder of Abington Presbyterian Church, and on the boards and as a volunteer for numerous other civic organizations. Additionally, Mr. High served in the Army and achieved the rank of Captain in the Army Reserve.
