Attorney Robert R. Simons began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. While working in the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, he tried complex criminal cases, including one of the first homicides in South Jersey utilizing DNA evidence, a serial rapist case, and multiple drug and weapons cases. After leaving the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, he switched sides and opened The Law Offices of Robert R. Simons, focusing on criminal defense. Over the years, our firm has aggressively represented hundreds of clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania against criminal charges. We also handle personal injury matters such as traffic accidents, product liability and dog bites. Thomas J. Gossé, Esquire grew up in Southern New Jersey and graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1974. Mr. Gossé attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Gossé graduated cum laude from the Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1978. Mr. Gossé earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the Rutgers University School of Law in 1981, graduating with Honors. While at Rutgers University School of Law, Mr. Gossé was an Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. His article, “Torts – Medical Malpractice – Wrongful Life Claim Not Cognizable But Wrongful Birth Claim Allows Recovery For Emotional Trauma Suffered By Parents,” was published in the Rutgers Law Review in 1980. Mr. Gossé was admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1981. He also practices in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Thomas Gossé served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Camden County from 1982-1985. From 1985-1988, he worked as an Associate Attorney with Archer and Greiner, P.C., in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Mr. Gossé is a member of many professional organizations, including the Camden County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Other professional memberships include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the New Jersey chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Gossé, during his twenty-five year career, has been recognized for his integrity and his legal ability. The largest and most respected lawyer rating service in the United States, Martindale-Hubbel, has bestowed an AV rating to Mr. Gossé for his legal ability and integrity, which is their highest rating. The Supreme Court of New Jersey has designated Mr. Gossé a “Certified Criminal Trial Attorney”. This designation is reserved for attorneys who, in the eyes of the Board on Trial Attorney Certification of the New Jersey Supreme Court, have demonstrated extraordinary experience, education, knowledge, and skill in criminal practice. Fewer than three percent of all attorneys in New Jersey have earned this distinction. Mr. Gossé has also been recognized by his peers as a leader among criminal defense attorneys. Most recently, Mr. Gossé was named a Top Ten Leader in Criminal Defense Law and recognized by South Jersey Magazine as one of the area’s best Municipal Court practitioners.
