About Greg
Greg is the father of two (boy and girl) and a grandfather of six kids. Erica, the other attorney in the firm, is his daughter. His varied background allows him to relate and empathize with his clients and present their concerns to the court. After graduating from Boston College (with honors) in 1973, he became a police officer with the Prince George's County Maryland Police Department. He stayed involved in education and received an additional accounting degree in 1983 and eventually became licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1985. Greg moved his family to Colorado Springs in 1985 where he entered the field of accounting, continuing his education and receiving a master's of business administration (MBA) in finance in 1988 from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
Tiring of the accounting world, he once again returned to school, this time to the University of Denver College of Law. He graduated in 1993 with a scholarship for litigation and was voted to address the graduating class as their class speaker. Greg spent the next five years as a prosecutor, here and in Trinidad, Colorado. He started as a deputy district attorney and ended his prosecutorial career as the assistant district attorney and the chief trial deputy. His prosecutions included everything from first-degree murder, child abuse and domestic violence to DUI. In private practice since 1998, Greg specializes in family law as well as the types of cases that naturally accompany it: domestic violence, restraining orders, and dependency and neglect cases.
