About Greggory
I am a State Bar Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation and the Past President of the Southern California Applicants’ Attorneys’ Association. I’ve dedicated my career to helping injured workers' and their families for over 14 years navigate the complicated process of workers compensation and pursue all of the benefits due to them. I handle all size cases from catastrophic injuries requiring lifelong future medical care to minor injuries where the injured worker just needs someone to help monitor the case. I represent all kinds of workers, including construction workers, drivers, truck drivers, loaders and unloaders, nurses, teachers and teacher aids, police officers, airline workers, secretaries and office clerks, retail workers and more. I am recognized as a Super Lawyer for Workers’ Compensation in Los Angeles and was selected in 2017, 2016 and 2015 as a Southern California “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, an award that is given to only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.

I earned my J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law and my B.A. in psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara, where I served as president of my fraternity. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and now live in Los Angeles with my beautiful wife and daughter. In my free time I volunteer as a youth sports coach for basketball and football and have been doing so for over 20 years.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
1. Client came to me with denied pulmonary fibrosis having worked in a plastics manufacturing company and needing a lung transplant. The case remained denied and litigated. Brought in an industrial hygenist expert. Client got the lung transplant outside of workers' comp and the denied case settled for 1.2 million. (*Results are not typical. Each case has different facts which change the value of each case.) 2. Parent died because of COVID contracted in the work place. Fighting to get the family and grandchildren benefits.
How did you build a successful practice?
It starts with genuine care for the client and empathy for what they are going through. From there we have to fight our client's benefits against insurance companies who more often than not deny treatment. We have set a team in place to try to help meet the needs of our clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Someone who is an expert in the field and who will listen to their client while giving honest advice.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
We handle cases statewide depending on the case. The laws throughout the state and process is the same. Attending the statewide conferences is critical for carrying out the practice. With that being said, local knowledge is helpful.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
In a free phone consultation we will first be able to address questions or problems that the potential client has and determine if we can help with the case. Either way we will provide feedback for the caller to think through and considering applying to their situation.

I have close to 18 years in practice. I have a certified specialist in workers' compensation. I care about my clients and their families.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Knowing that I attained the best outcome for my client in a very difficult and limiting system.

Coaching youth sports, Exercise, Family
Are you involved in your community?
Pre-Covid, I have been a youth sports coach for 27 years. My family is also involved in donating money or supplies to various charities including Ronald McDonald House Charities, City of Hope and Feit 4 Kids just to name a few.
