Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

There were several criminal cases where I was able to get the client pre-trial diversion, where they will serve a short period of probation, and then, on successful completion, will be found not guilty. This will allow them to have the case expunged. In another criminal case, I was able to negotiate a habitual drug offender's sentence down from the ten years offered by the District Attorney down to nine months instead. On the family law side, I was able to get a father full possession of his children less than a year after the mother had been awarded custody in one case, and was able to get the court to order another mother to return the children to Texas after she had attempted to move the children to Ohio. In another case, I was able to successfully represent a client who was in the Air Force and who was stationed in Europe, to obtain her divorce in Texas.
