Attorney for the Defendant in a fraud case in which a popular pastor. Said Defendant was accused of fraudulently filing for bankruptcy, hiding assets, and lying to the court about his financial situation, all while accumulating material assets thanks to the generosity of his congregation. Over 600k of the money he received was borrowed by his congregation members and given to the Defendant, causing them to default on loans and lose their possessions when they failed to repay the money to the lender. The Defendant was admitted guilt and received 26 months in prison. He was also required to pay back the money to the congregation members.
