Harold R. Collins, Jr. is a founding partner of Blecher & Collins and concentrates his practice on complex business litigation. He represents and advises clients on a wide variety of issues in the fields of antitrust, business torts, class actions, contracts and trade regulation. He has lectured on antitrust and trade regulation at programs sponsored by Federal and State Bar associations. Mr. Collins' trial and appellate practice has included clients in the following industries: aerospace; optical lenses; electronic; medical appliances; petroleum; telecommunications; and travel.

  • Represented a major manufacturer of telecommunications equipment in an antitrust action against a major telecommunications company.
  • Defended a large independent petroleum company against charges of price fixing in a class action brought by California consumers.
  • Represented a manufacturer of surgical equipment in an antitrust suit against a major supplier of medical equipment.
  • Represented a computer software company in an antitrust action against a major software company.
  • Defended a manufacturer and distributor of lighting and sporting equipment against patent infringement charges filed by a major manufacturer of flashlights.
  • Represented a large group of travel agents in an antitrust action against major airlines.
  • Defended the propriety of the sale by a property development company of 13,000 acres of land in Maricopa County, Arizona.
  • Successfully prosecuted an antitrust and tortious interference case between two manufacturers and distributors of sports equipment.
  • Represented a manufacture of equipment used by major amusement parks in an antitrust case against a competitor.
