Harry V. Peetris, II is a trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience. He represents clients in both California and Nevada. His areas of specialty are personal injury law, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, standard of care liability, construction defect, and community association law. Mr. Peetris has been in litigation and/or trial against oil companies (Lockheed Litigation Cases), automobile manufacturers (Ford Explorer rollover cases and Chrysler airbag cases), major utility companies (PG&E in the Kellerman cases), bad faith actions brought against insurance companies (State Farm and Allstate following the Northridge Earthquake) and insurers in injury cases daily. Mr. Peetris has obtained settlements/verdicts in excess of $800,000,000.00 over his career. Mr. Peetris has also represented clients on appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.

Mr. Peetris spent 16 years as a defense lawyer working with some of the largest carriers in the United States. He focused primarily on professional liability cases and litigated such matters including Panorama Towers, Turnberry Place 1-4, Turnberry East/West, Bellagio Power Outage, Elko Regional Airport Apron Failure, Pahrump Justice Facility mold class action, Regional Justice Center, McCarran International Airport construction cases, City Center and Mandalay Bay construction cases. Mr. Peetris has also negotiated contracts and represented owners, developers, and the design team on projects that include Mandalay Bay, Delano Tower, Mandalay Aquarium, Panorama Towers, Wynn, Encore, Bellagio Spa Tower Expansion, and Caesar’s Expansion, to name a few. He was also Nevada General Counsel for Kimball Hill Homes of Nevada, Inc. building world-class homes and expansive master-planned communities throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Mr. Peetris has decided to return to his roots and pursue a more fulfilling career to exclusively represent injured plaintiffs against insurance companies and corporations looking to take advantage of them. Mr. Peetris also assists homeowners in direct actions against their homeowner association when the board of those associations violate their governing documents, exceeds their jurisdiction and violates mandates under NRS 116.

Outside the practice of law, Mr. Peetris is heavily involved in the community. He is an officer in his master-planned community holding the position of Treasurer for his Homeowners’ Association. He is also an animal advocate working for animal rights, adoption opportunities and Desert Tortoise adoption and preservation.
