About Harsinie

Harsinie concentrates her practice in workers' compensation defense in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators and insurance companies. Prior to joining Wynn McGarry in 2007, she interned at Guard Insurance and worked for a large national firm. She has conducted several training initiatives including a seminar on Modification/Suspension Petitions and labor market surveys.

Professional Activities

Harsinie is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and has dedicated time to several pro bono projects ranging from tax clinics for migrant farm workers to mortgage foreclosure mediations and conferences with the Philadelphia VIP. She is a panel attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She is additionally active in emergency disaster relief with the American Red Cross. In 2008 Harsinie was chosen as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by SuperLawyers, a distinction held by less than 5% of practicing attorneys.

Education

Harsinie received her Juris Doctor from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2004. While at Temple, Harsinie was the Managing Editor of the Temple University Environmental Law and Technology Journal, the Vice-President of the International Law Society, Secretary of the Business Law Society and was a scholarship recipient. Harsinie studied international law and policy in Rome, Italy. She double-majored in Political Science and English and minored in Philosophy at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated in 2001 and was a National Merit Scholarship Recipient and an Oxford Scholar.
