Jason is a founding partner at Wolford Wayne. He has dedicated the majority of his twenty plus-year legal career to representing Bay Area tenants. Jason’s practice focuses on representing tenants in wrongful eviction, habitability, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits. Outside of the courtroom, Jason donates his time to a variety of community justice organizations. Jason is the President of the Board of Directors for the Eviction Defense Collaborative, volunteers as a tenant counselor with the San Francisco Tenants Union, and is actively involved in the San Francisco Bar Association.

Daniel is a partner and co-founder of Wolford Wayne LLP. Daniel has spent his entire legal career dedicated to fighting on behalf of tenants. He has resolved hundreds of cases on behalf of Bay Area tenants and helped his clients recover millions of dollars. ​Daniel is active in the tenants’ rights community. He is a volunteer counselor at the San Francisco Tenants Union, writes about tenant’s rights issues for the popular San Francisco-based site Broke-Ass Stuart, and for the San Francisco Apartment Association, and has appeared on 91.7 FM KALW’s “Your Legal Rights” Program. He received the Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award from the San Francisco Bar Association in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and has presented to numerous legal groups, as well as to the San Francisco Apartment Association, on topics such as Airbnb and short-term rental legislation, tenancy buyouts, and habitability litigation.

James F. Regan is a native San Franciscan and has been an attorney for nearly 20 years. He was previously a partner at one of San Francisco’s oldest law firms. He is an experienced trial attorney and has been lead or co-counsel in multiple civil jury trials throughout California. He has argued pre- and post-trial motions and has argued before the California Court of Appeal multiple times. He has been named as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in the area of civil litigation (only 2.5% of California Lawyers receive this designation). He is also a mediator.

 Prior to working in private practice, he was the Research Attorney in the Presiding Judge’s Department in San Francisco Superior Court.

 He graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory, University of San Francisco, and Western State College of Law, where he was student body Vice President. He lives in the West Portal neighborhood of San Francisco with his wife and daughters.

Piper joined Wolford Wayne as an associate attorney in 2024. Before earning her law degree, Piper worked as a senior paralegal with the firm for several years. During law school she earned multiple CALI awards for academic excellence and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. Piper has been active in various tenants’ campaigns and organizations in the Bay Area since 2015 and is delighted to advocate for tenants as a new attorney. In her free time, Piper enjoys practicing her Russian and Spanish language skills and exploring California. She lives in Oakland with her partner and twin daughters.

Jeremy Cloyd is a partner and trial attorney at Altair Law® in San Francisco. He focuses on injury cases that have impacted his clients’ life, work, or happiness. Mr. Cloyd has extensive trial experience having obtained successful trial verdicts in both state and federal court. He prepares all cases for trial, which has resulted in numerous, favorable, pre-trial settlements. Megan joined Wolford Wayne in 2019. She is an associate attorney at the firm where she focuses her practice on representing residential tenants in wrongful eviction, habitability, and harassment lawsuits. She has spent the majority of her six years as an attorney practicing tenants’ rights in the Bay Area. She currently volunteers with Open Door Legal, providing legal assistance to their housing department.
