Mr James Francis Regan | Attorney

James F. Regan is a native San Franciscan and has been an attorney for nearly 20 years. He was previously a partner at one of San Francisco’s oldest law firms.

He is an experienced trial attorney and has been lead or co-counsel in multiple civil jury trials throughout California. He has argued pre- and post-trial motions and has argued before the California Court of Appeal multiple times. He has been named as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in the area of civil litigation (only 2.5% of California Lawyers receive this designation).  He is also a mediator.



Prior to working in private practice, he was the Research Attorney in the Presiding Judge’s Department in San Francisco Superior Court.



He graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory, University of San Francisco, and Western State College of Law, where he was student body Vice President. He lives in the West Portal neighborhood of San Francisco with his wife and daughters.
