Riverside Divorce Lawyer and Family Law Attorney Heather Cullen is the Managing Attorney at the Cullen Family Law Group. Attorney Cullen has practiced Family Law exclusively since 1998.
Attorney Cullen is a native Southern Californian who graduated Cum Laude with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy & in Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside. Attorney Cullen then earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California at Davis School of Law.
Attorney Cullen is currently an active member of the State Bar of California. She is licensed to practice law in the State of California as well as the U.S. District Court Central District of California. Attorney Cullen is also an active member of the Riverside County and San Bernardino County Bar Associations.
Attorney Cullen founded the firm that has grown into the Cullen Family Law Group in 1998 and has practiced exclusively in the Riverside and San Bernardino courts for over 25 years. Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Represented a party who was divorcing. The divorce included high asset division including a family business and many properties. The party I represented was awarded a large share of the family business and community assets. Further, children were involved in the matter and my client was awarded sole legal and physical custody and well as child support, spousal support and attorney fees.
How did you build a successful practice?
Dedication to individual client needs and utilization of cutting edge technology to provide efficient and individualized legal representation.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Honesty, Trustworthiness, Knowledge and Understanding of State Family Law with Application of Local Rules.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is very important to choose an attorney who practices in the courthouse wherein the client's matter is being heard and determined. An attorney who practices in the courthouse regularly is familiar with judicial officers, the local rules and the courthouse policies that are followed to accelerate the flow of the client's matter through the courthouse system.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
Our office does not provide free consultations; however, the consultation is a minimal fee of $50 and, if the client chooses to hire us for legal representation, the fee is applied to the retainer.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I practice exclusively family law. I have been practicing family law in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties for over 20 years.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Client Satisfaction. Family law issues are extremely emotional and expensive. It is rewarding to provide a legal and emotional support system for clients during this difficult time in their lives.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
My family.
Are you involved in your community?
I am a contributor to various local charities; including organizations to eliminate child hunger in the Inland Empire, assisting to provide basic needs to homeless children in the Inland Empire and education resources to children.
