About Hillary
Ms. Jones is the founding partner of Jones and Jones Law Group. Within the Entertainment group, her focus is on Copyright and Trademark infringement. She advises on the use of the copyrighted material, issues cease and desist letters, and if necessary, will bring an action or lawsuit in federal court for infringement. She also represents producers, writers, actors, and directors. Her focus within the Labor and Employment group is on wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Ms. Jones works with employees who have been wronged to ensure that they are treated fairly and receive just compensation. Finally, in the area of Personal Injury, Ms. Jones has extensive experience in cases involving high profile wrongful death cases, catastrophic injury, auto accidents, and premises liability.
Ms. Jones was admitted to the California Bar in 2005 after graduating from Southwestern University School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Hon. Tom Bradley Scholarship. While at Southwestern, she competed in the Moot Court Honors Program. Additionally, Ms. Jones was the President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, which was the largest student organization on campus. Ms. Jones is admitted to practice in all the California state courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to practice in all of the state courts within Illinois and New York.
Recognizing the importance of giving back to the community, Ms. Jones is a volunteer with the Los Angeles Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and also volunteers every week to feed the homeless and underprivileged of Los Angeles.
