Areas of Emphasis
Electronic Banking and Commerce
Holli counsels financial institutions and merchant-acquiring, electronic fund transfer, loyalty card, and electronic commerce businesses on contractual and regulatory matters. As advisor to companies in the credit card processing industry internationally, Holli advises clients on strategic direction, and negotiates independent sales organization, BIN, agent bank, and association contracts. She handles troubled and bankrupt merchant matters, reducing merchant acquirers' risk of loss. Holli negotiates merchant portfolio and card processing industry mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Holli counsels companies engaged in the payments business, negotiating contracts and advising companies on electronic fund transfer regulatory issues and on state and Federal laws. She is a frequent author and speaker at industry forums, and is a contributing author to The 1999 Guide to Smart Cards and Stored Value.
